Circle City Paranormal

We were just recently called in to help a group and family just
outside Effingham, Illinois. We had to do a quick scramble to get
out there since we were contacted at about 4 pm to do the
investigation that night and it was a 2 hour drive just to get there.
The family has had increased activity after a smudging that was
done. The children are no longer staying in the residence and
therefore they needed help to figure out what was going on. We have
some preliminary stuff popping up during the evidence review and
are almost done with all of the review. We have talked to the family
and they would like us out again here soon with more of our team on
hand. We have contacted some of our friends in Kentucky that are
paranormal priest and have updated them of our investigation just in
case we need to bring them in. Keep checking back and we will
continue to update this case.

We just want to remind everybody of our policy of
confidentiality. We have had a client that requested us to
remove items from our website due to increased pressure
from outside parties. We as an organization keep our clients
request in our foremost decision making. We will not place
items on the website the clients wish to remain private. We
do have confidentiality waivers that are signed before an
investigation to allow us to place evidence on our site. Even
stating this, we will always keep our clients request as the
most important part of our evidence release. So feel
confident that when you ask us to investigate; we will regard
your request as our most important factor in our decision
making process

We have an Investigation schedue in southern Indiana at Story
Inn a bed and breakfest. This will be our second investigation
there in the past few years. We are looking forward to going
again. The last time we were there we got some real nice

We also have two private residence investigation coming up
also. One in north central Indiana and another in Louisville KY.
As it normal with our policy we do not put up information about
private residence's up unless we get evidence from the location.

We have been busy with building our new website and updating
equipment. We just purchased a new high end 4- channel DVR
system and some more K2 meters and other equipment. Hopefully
if all things work out we hope to have a thermal by the end of 2010.
Those things are expensive so we have put it off as a luxury while
we improve the rest of the equipment.

Paranormal terms 101

Haunting- documented paranormal activity at a location.

Residial haunting- a haunting at a location that keeps
replaying like a video. Does not intereact with their
surroundings.

Inteliegent haunting- activity that interacts with their
surrounds and or investigators.

Shadow figure- a figure or mass that has no definite
shap or features but has purposful movement.

These are common terms associated with ghost hunting.

Equipment terms 101

DVR- Stands for digital video recorder. This is a
system that multiple cameras are fed into that
recordes to a hard drive to review later.

IR camera- This stands for Infared camera. these
cameras have special light that can be used to see
and record in zero light.

BNC- Stands for Bayonet Neill-Concelman. These
are a coax cable thats links the IR camera's to the
DVR unit.

VGA- Stands for Video Graphics Array. Its is the
common term for the connection of a Computer
monitor. We used a VGA monitor for our DVR.

This is common tech talk in ghost hunting for the
